Income documentation requirements
A guide listing the paperwork borrowers must provide to prove their income, broken out by how they earn it.
What it usually contains
- Requirements for salaried and hourly wage earners, such as pay stubs and W-2s
- Rules for self-employed borrowers, including business and personal tax returns and profit-and-loss statements
- Treatment of bonus, commission, overtime, and part-time income and how long it must be established
- Documentation for other income sources like rental, retirement, Social Security, alimony, and investment earnings
- Age-of-document limits, verification of employment steps, and calculation methods for qualifying income
What the assistant uses it for
Answer questions about which income documents a specific borrower type must supply, how far back records must go, and how a given income source is averaged or counted toward qualifying.
How it is versioned
A document of this type has exactly one current version at a time. Upload a revision and it becomes the version that counts — the one before it is kept and dated, but is no longer what your assistant answers from. Nothing is ever deleted, so you can always show what this document said on a given date.

On one AI system
Everything your company knows.
One version that counts.
You already own the documents. We make them the only thing your AI is allowed to answer from, and we keep them current — so nobody quotes last year’s price by accident again.
