Why isn’t this priced per seat?
Because per-seat pricing would teach you to share logins, and a shared login destroys the record of who changed what — which is most of what you are buying. It would also cap the deployment: the value shows up when the third estimator and the fifteenth field lead can both ask, not when two managers can.
Is there a setup fee?
No. There is no setup fee and there never has been. You sign up, we give you access, and you start uploading. Onboarding is included, not billed.
What counts as a department?
A department is one of the named groups in your industry’s taxonomy — Estimating & Bidding, Compliance & Legal, Front Office & Intake, and so on. You can see every one of them, and the document types inside, on the browse pages. Your tier sets how many you can turn on.
What counts as a document?
One document, not one version. A price list you revise eleven times is one document with eleven versions. The versions you have replaced do not count against your limit.
Can I move up a tier later?
Yes, and most companies do — usually when a second department sees what the first one is getting. Nothing needs rebuilding; we turn the departments on.
Do I need to buy AI accounts from you?
No — and you can’t. You bring the Claude or ChatGPT account your company already uses. We never resell or provision AI accounts, and there is no markup on model usage in what you pay us.
Who owns the documents?
You do, start to finish. They stay in storage your company owns and controls. We hold what is needed to keep the library honest — the version history and the activity record — never the files themselves. A client who leaves keeps every document exactly where it already was.
What if my industry isn’t listed yet?
We have 6 industries mapped — 471 document types across 51 departments. Building a new one takes months of taxonomy work, so we do it when we take on a client who needs it. Tell us what you run and we will tell you honestly where you sit in that queue.
