RFIs (received from other trades)
Requests for Information raised by another trade, the general contractor, or the design team, on which this company is a watcher, reviewer, or respondent rather than the author.
What it usually contains
- The originating company and the RFI number in their numbering series
- Current status and who the request is waiting on
- Due date and how far past due the request is running
- The question asked and any responses posted, with dates and authors
- Names of revised drawings or documents attached to a response
- Which trades and parties are on the distribution or watcher list
- Cost and schedule impact flags set by the originator
What the assistant uses it for
Seeing what other trades have asked that affects this scope of work, and catching answers that change drawings or coordination without a direct notification. Also used to find out who is holding up a decision and how long it has been outstanding.
How it is versioned
A document of this type has exactly one current version at a time. Upload a revision and it becomes the version that counts — the one before it is kept and dated, but is no longer what your assistant answers from. Nothing is ever deleted, so you can always show what this document said on a given date.

On one AI system
Everything your company knows.
One version that counts.
You already own the documents. We make them the only thing your AI is allowed to answer from, and we keep them current — so nobody quotes last year’s price by accident again.
