New hire onboarding checklist
A step-by-step list of everything that must be completed when a new employee joins a mortgage lender, from paperwork to system access.
What it usually contains
- Pre-start paperwork: offer letter, I-9, W-4, background and credit checks
- Licensing and registration steps such as NMLS registration and state license sponsorship
- Required compliance training: fair lending, anti-money laundering, privacy, and information security
- System and equipment setup: loan origination system logins, email, phone, building access
- First-week and 30/60/90-day milestones with sign-off spaces for manager and HR
What the assistant uses it for
Answer questions about what a new loan officer, processor, or underwriter must complete before and during their first weeks, and who is responsible for each step. Use it to check licensing, training, and paperwork requirements tied to a start date.
How it is versioned
A document of this type has exactly one current version at a time. Upload a revision and it becomes the version that counts — the one before it is kept and dated, but is no longer what your assistant answers from. Nothing is ever deleted, so you can always show what this document said on a given date.

On one AI system
Everything your company knows.
One version that counts.
You already own the documents. We make them the only thing your AI is allowed to answer from, and we keep them current — so nobody quotes last year’s price by accident again.
