Internal audit checklist
A structured list of control points auditors work through when reviewing an insurance function for regulatory and policy compliance.
What it usually contains
- Control questions grouped by area, such as underwriting, claims handling, licensing, and complaints
- References to the rules, statutes, or internal policies each item tests
- Sample sizes and records to pull for file review
- Pass, fail, or exception columns with space for auditor notes and evidence
- Sign-off lines for the auditor, reviewer, and department manager
What the assistant uses it for
Use it to see what an internal audit of an insurance department will examine and which rules each test point maps to. It also answers how findings are recorded, escalated, and signed off.
How it is versioned
A document of this type has exactly one current version at a time. Upload a revision and it becomes the version that counts — the one before it is kept and dated, but is no longer what your assistant answers from. Nothing is ever deleted, so you can always show what this document said on a given date.

Everything your company knows.
One version that counts.
You already own the documents. We make them the only thing your AI is allowed to answer from, and we keep them current — so nobody quotes last year’s price by accident again.
