Vendor order guides

A supplier's list of the products a restaurant can order from them, with pack sizes and current prices.

What it usually contains

  • Product descriptions grouped by category, such as produce, dairy, dry goods, or paper
  • Pack size and unit of measure for each item, such as case counts and weights
  • Current price per case and per unit, with notes on price changes
  • Order minimums, cutoff times, and delivery days
  • Brand or grade specifications and available substitutes

What the assistant uses it for

Use it to check what a supplier carries, what a case costs, and how items are packed before placing an order. It also answers questions about order minimums, delivery schedules, and which items can be swapped when something is out of stock.

How it is versioned

A document of this type has exactly one current version at a time. Upload a revision and it becomes the version that counts — the one before it is kept and dated, but is no longer what your assistant answers from. Nothing is ever deleted, so you can always show what this document said on a given date.

On one AI system

Everything your company knows.
One version that counts.

You already own the documents. We make them the only thing your AI is allowed to answer from, and we keep them current — so nobody quotes last year’s price by accident again.
