Repurchase request handling procedures
A written procedure for how a lender responds when an investor demands it buy back a loan it already sold.
What it usually contains
- Timelines for acknowledging and responding to a repurchase or indemnification demand
- Who reviews the file and gathers documentation (underwriting, QC, servicing, legal)
- Grounds for appeal or rebuttal, and how to draft and submit one
- Options for settlement, indemnification, make-whole payments, or repurchase funding
- Tracking, reserve accounting, reporting to management, and root-cause follow-up
What the assistant uses it for
Use it to answer who handles an investor buyback demand, how long the lender has to respond, and what steps are taken to appeal or settle. It also explains how repurchase losses are funded, recorded, and reported internally.
How it is versioned
A document of this type has exactly one current version at a time. Upload a revision and it becomes the version that counts — the one before it is kept and dated, but is no longer what your assistant answers from. Nothing is ever deleted, so you can always show what this document said on a given date.

On one AI system
Everything your company knows.
One version that counts.
You already own the documents. We make them the only thing your AI is allowed to answer from, and we keep them current — so nobody quotes last year’s price by accident again.
