Employee handbook

A written guide given to construction employees explaining company rules, pay practices, benefits, and expected conduct on the job.

What it usually contains

  • work hours, timekeeping, and overtime rules
  • pay periods, paid time off, and holiday policies
  • safety rules, PPE requirements, and drug and alcohol testing policy
  • harassment, discrimination, and complaint procedures
  • attendance, discipline, and termination steps
  • signed acknowledgment page

What the assistant uses it for

Answering questions about what a worker is entitled to and what is expected of them, such as how vacation is requested, what happens after a safety violation, or how many absences trigger discipline. Also used to confirm required policy language and what new hires must sign during orientation.

How it is versioned

A document of this type has exactly one current version at a time. Upload a revision and it becomes the version that counts — the one before it is kept and dated, but is no longer what your assistant answers from. Nothing is ever deleted, so you can always show what this document said on a given date.

On one AI system

Everything your company knows.
One version that counts.

You already own the documents. We make them the only thing your AI is allowed to answer from, and we keep them current — so nobody quotes last year’s price by accident again.
