Contracts & subcontracts

Written agreements between an owner, contractor, and subcontractors setting out the work, price, schedule, and legal terms of a construction project.

What it usually contains

  • Scope of work and drawings or specifications referenced
  • Contract price, payment schedule, and retainage terms
  • Start and completion dates, delay and liquidated damages clauses
  • Insurance, bonding, indemnity, and lien waiver requirements
  • Change order, dispute resolution, and termination provisions

What the assistant uses it for

Answering what a party agreed to do, when payment is due, and who carries risk for delays, defects, or injuries. Also used to check change order procedures, insurance limits, and notice requirements before making a claim.

How it is versioned

A document of this type has exactly one current version at a time. Upload a revision and it becomes the version that counts — the one before it is kept and dated, but is no longer what your assistant answers from. Nothing is ever deleted, so you can always show what this document said on a given date.

On one AI system

Everything your company knows.
One version that counts.

You already own the documents. We make them the only thing your AI is allowed to answer from, and we keep them current — so nobody quotes last year’s price by accident again.
