Rate manuals (by state)
A state-specific reference book that sets out an insurer's approved premium rates and the rules for applying them to a policy.
What it usually contains
- Base rates by coverage, limit, and deductible
- Territory and class definitions with rating factors
- Discount, surcharge, and credit tables
- Step-by-step premium calculation order and rounding rules
- Minimum premiums, endorsement charges, and fees
What the assistant uses it for
Use it to determine what premium applies to a given risk in a particular state and which discounts or surcharges are allowed. It also answers how rating factors are ordered and applied when quoting, issuing, or auditing a policy.
How it is versioned
A document of this type has exactly one current version at a time. Upload a revision and it becomes the version that counts — the one before it is kept and dated, but is no longer what your assistant answers from. Nothing is ever deleted, so you can always show what this document said on a given date.

On one AI system
Everything your company knows.
One version that counts.
You already own the documents. We make them the only thing your AI is allowed to answer from, and we keep them current — so nobody quotes last year’s price by accident again.
